What's New For the 2020 GMC Acadia?

Many exciting changes are happening with the Acadia in 2020. There is a brand-new trim, known as the AT4. This is an off-road-oriented version of the Acadia that has features such as all-terrain tires. There are some new features available on certain trims, like a hands-free liftgate. Paired with every engine option in 2020 will be a nine-speed automatic transmission instead of the previously standard six-speed. There is also a new turbocharged 2.0L option. The Acadia looks different this year as well due to the updated front fascia and rear fascias. As a bonus, both the navigation and entertainment systems get an upgrade as well.

Which Features are Available for 2020?

Drivers now have five different trim levels of the Acadia to consider. The first on the list is known as the SL. It comes standard with an 8" screen that runs both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also standard is a convenient onboard WiFi hotspot. Option two for drivers is called the SLE, which gives the Acadia satellite radio. The SLT gives the vehicle leather, captain's chairs in the second-row, power-adjustable front seats, a power liftgate, and remote start. The AT4 makes performance upgrades primarily. It comes standard with only two rows of seating to reduce weight, but the third row can be added back if desired. The Denali has the luxury that people have come to expect from that name. It adds both heat and ventilation to the front seats, heat to the second-row seats, navigation, and an upgraded Bose sound system.
