If you’ve been eyeing the Buick Encore, you are certainly not alone. Turns out the compact SUV is a huge hit, and to meet booming demand for the crossover, Buick is increasing its production by 50 percent! Yea, that’s quite a jump. Encore is distinguished from competitors like the BMW X1, VW Tiguan and Nissan Juke in what Autoblog.com calls “small yet fundamental ways.” And consumers crave it because of the distinctions that separate it from these and other competitors.
Its popularity is so strong that Buick reps have stated that the petite SUV could go from being the company’s third best-selling vehicle to its best-selling vehicle. So what are shoppers so in love with, you ask?
For starters, Encore’s small size doesn’t equate to diminished utility. Contrary to this, Encore offers great flexibility and just the right amount of space for young SUV shoppers and older SUV buyers with small families. Furthermore, the cabin is quiet, upscale and well-appointed, with features like an available 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot that enables drivers to access Internet on the go.
In their 2015 Encore review Kelly Blue Book editors state, “Small doesn't have to mean skimpy. The 2015 Buick Encore SUV may be compact, but its bold appearance, long list of luxury and electronic trappings and modern drivetrain make it an exceptionally good value.”
Having our own firsthand experience with the vehicle, we’re not surprised by Encore’s popularity among consumers and critics, and we’re excited to hear that this has inspired Buick to produce more of them. This also means that you can soon expect to find a greater selection of Encores at our dealership!
