What's New For the 2020 Buick Encore?
Four trims form the 2020 Buick Encore, a small luxury SUV that promises a cabin with creative storage solutions, staunchly engaging technology, and a gaggle of exterior features that promise to improve aerodynamics. We're here today to investigate these four trims and see what kind of future Buick is creating for its popular Encore model. It looks like a thrilling future indeed.

What are the Buick Encore Trims & Features?
1SV (or base), Preferred, Sport Touring and Essence trim levels ring in the year 2020 with a touch of the basic and a touch of the wondrous. You'll find turbocharged engines on some trims, not on others. You'll also find a lot to choose from in terms of optional features, but Buick has been generous with standard features more than in year's past. It's a luxury SUV, as evidenced by the heated seats, heated leather steering wheel, and something called the "Experience" package that grants you a sunroof and beautiful 18" alloy wheels on your Essence. 1SV and Preferred trims come with cruise control and 60/40-split-folding rear seats.
An 8-inch touchscreen is equipped with a rearview camera, something every SUV owner knows is almost a necessity with the designs these days. You'll appreciate having a view of the area around your Encore. Even smaller SUVs need these features, and Buick stepped up to the plate and added it on. You can also get LED headlights on your Essence standard, but it's optional on other trims as well. It's one of the premium interiors in the automotive world today, and everyone will be proud to enjoy the new Encore. It's simply a luxury SUV that the whole family will be glad to own, with a little something for everyone.
Raw Power and Stellar Performance
A 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine offers an inviting and smooth 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque, combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. Every Encore comes with front-wheel drive. It's effective and powerful on a smaller SUV to have this low of horsepower because other things, like suspension and transmission, come into play. You'll have a confident, powerful drive. Visit Van Buick GMC if you would like to take a test drive of the 2020 Buick Encore. We will be happy to let you take it for a spin and ask any questions that you might have.
Packed with Safety Features
Safety features aren't hard to appreciate on the Encore. Features like rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring are standard on most trims, but the stack of safety features will grow longer as Buick releases more information about its Encore. Be thankful that they've thrown in standard features like this, as most other automakers have been selfish with features like this. Other safety features include the camera systems that you'll have to prevent accidents while trying to park or back up.
Expect other announcements soon about safety features on the new 2020 Encore. We're still just getting to know this elegant luxury SUV, and it's certain that Buick will be announcing more features like lane change alert and automatic headlights. None of these are official features, but you can bet that Buick is going to announce many more safety features here very soon. Stay tuned.
