Got the post-midterm-election blues? Well, The Capitol Steps will cheer you right up. Started back in 1981 by a group of Republican congressional staffers turned songwriters, the Washington, D.C. based ensemble has become well-known for poking fun at both sides of the aisle. Today the troupe is primarily composed of professional singers and actors, but their political satire is still as sharp as ever.

This November, the Steps are coming to Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, bringing songs from their 2014 album, "How to Succeed in Congress Without Really Lying," to the stage. Actors will portray current political figures ranging from Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin to Edward Snowden and Chris Christie, which is sure to be a hoot.

The Capitol Steps put the mock in democracy with relevant humor that takes today's most current political scandals and headlines and turns them into side-splitting parodies. You're sure to laugh right out of your seat, but tickets for the show are limited, so don't hesitate to get yours today.

Performances are scheduled to take place at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' Virginia G. Piper Theater on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014. Show times are at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Single, package and member tickets are still available. Click here to claim your seats now.
