What's New for the 2025 GMC Yukon XL?

The 2025 GMC Yukon XL features a refreshed front fascia with an updated grille and headlight design. For the first time, the Denali Ultimate is equipped with standard 24-inch wheels and new trim options are available. The Elevation model now replaces the SLE and SLT trims, and the AT4 Ultimate debuts in 2025. A more powerful Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six version is the only major powertrain update.

What Are the 2025 GMC Yukon XL Trims and Features?

The trim options include the Elevation, the AT4, the AT4 Ultimate, the Denali, and the Denali Ultimate. The Elevation comes with a 5.3L V8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a 16.8" diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment system, heated driver and front passenger seats, a 10-speaker Bose Surround audio system, and 20" machined and painted satin graphite wheels. The AT4 includes all the standard features of the Elevation but adds machined aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, a front skid plate with red recovery hooks, and an 11" diagonal driver information center.

The brand-new AT4 Ultimate builds on the AT4's features and adds a 6.2L V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, 16-way power heated front seats with a massage function, and an 8" rear climate control touchscreen. The Denali is similar to the AT4 Ultimate but includes a power-sliding center console and a multicolor 16" heads-up display. Finally, the Denali Ultimate stands out with its standard 24-inch aluminum wheels.

The 2025 GMC Yukon XL produces between 305 and 420 horsepower, depending on the chosen trim. Both the Denali and the Denali Ultimate come standard with a 420-hp 6.2L V8 engine, which is also available for the AT4.
