Specs at a Glance
The 2024 GMC Acadia is one of the most attractive midsize SUVs available today. This versatile family vehicle accommodates up to seven passengers comfortably and delivers impressive performance. Here's a comparison of the Acadia Elevation and the Acadia AT4.
Performance
Both Acadia trims are powered by a new 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing a robust 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted smoothly to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the AT4 trim comes standard with a Trailering Package, it's available as an option on the Elevation trim. With proper equipment, the Acadia is capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds.
All-wheel drive is optional on the Acadia Elevation, while the more rugged Acadia AT4 comes standard with an Active Torque Control AWD System. An off-road suspension and raised ride height enhance the AT4 trim's ability to navigate tougher terrain. Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the AT4's exclusive Terrain mode, allowing the SUV to traverse rough roads at a slow, controlled pace.
Appearance
No matter which trim you choose, you'll enjoy traveling in style. The Acadia Elevation has a striking presence with its standard signature LED headlights. The dark-accented Acadia AT4, with its rugged look, stands out even more. Distinctive features like a front skid plate and red tow hooks further differentiate it. The AT4 trim also features exclusive wheels paired with all-terrain tires.
Features
The new Acadia Elevation is well-equipped with class-leading standard features. Its premium GMC infotainment system includes a 15.0-inch diagonal touchscreen with Google built-in. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration further enhances the experience. Additional highlights include a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, heated front seats, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a digital gauge cluster.
The Acadia AT4 shares many of the same features as the Elevation trim, but its Forest Storm interior adds a distinctive flair.
