One of the most anticipated culinary events in the Phoenix metro area is back for a second year! The azcentral.com Food & Wine Experience isn’t your average foodie festival—the weekend-long event showcases cuisine and drinks by top local talent as well as popular celebrity chefs. The Food & Wine Experience moves to the award-winning Salt River Fields at Talking Stick this year. Taking place from Nov. 4-6, 2016, the experience kicks off on Friday with an opening night charity event called First Course. Attendees will enjoy live music and mingling over delicious bites and beverages while supporting the nonprofit organization Joy Bus.
Over the rest of the weekend, there will be many unique dining experiences available to attend. The central event, the Grand Tasting, is the most popular. Spanning two days, this 21+ event includes unlimited sampling of 70 restaurants along with access to 200 wines, beers and spirits, chef demonstrations, exclusive seminars and more. VIP Tickets are available for this event, and add luxe upgrades like a VIP lounge and early entry.
As you peruse the Grand Tasting and other onsite attractions, you may spot a celebrity chef or two. Mario Batali, Scott Conant, Mark Tarbell, Kevin Fink and Alex Stratta, to name a few, will all be in attendance.
