The Sierra HD takes a turn off the beaten path with a brand new model, which is set to be the most off-road-capable in the lineup. The 2017 Sierra HD All Terrain X is the third GMC truck to receive a trail-ready model, reflecting the brand’s commitment to giving consumers the adventure they crave.

“The new Sierra HD All Terrain X’s powerful attitude reflects a popular trend in very capable off-road trucks, executed with a range-topping level of refinement — a combination of attributes GMC has cultivated for years,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “And with the new, available Duramax 6.6L, this truck more than matches its bold good looks with true professional-grade capability.”

Equipped with a gas-powered 6.0L V8 or the latest version 6.6L V8 turbo-diesel, as well as an Eaton automatic locking rear differential, the ZL1 off-road suspension package, Goodyear Duratrac MT-rated tires and an underbody shield, the All Terrain X is ready for expedition. The truck is offered in Black Onyx and Summit White, and stands out with a monochromatic grille, door handles and body moldings. Additionally, the truck features a variety of blacked out accessories, including 18-inch aluminum wheels, a sport bar, trailering mirrors, side steps, front bumper skidplate and B-pillars.

Additional outfits on the truck include all-weather floor liners, spray-on bedliner, a remote locking tailgate, adjustable pedals, wireless phone charging, a heated steering wheel, leather-appointed seating, heated front seats and more.

The 2017 Sierra HD All Terrain X is headed to Van Buick GMC soon, so be sure to take it for a test drive in Scottsdale when it arrives. In the meantime, view our large inventory of new Sierra light-duty and heavy-duty trucks online now.
