It’s been 25 years since Buick has released a convertible in the United States, but now your drop-top luxury car wishes will soon come true. Early next year, Buick plans to introduce an all-new convertible model called the Cascada! It’ll be an exciting new entry to the lineup, offering open-air driving enjoyment and all of the signature Buick luxury you’ve come to love.
The 2016 Buick Cascada will feature a 2+2 layout with enough space to fit four adults comfortably. According to specs it takes only 17 seconds to open the top, which moves at about 31 mph as it contracts. With a rear Watts Z-link suspension, front HiPer Strut suspension, 20-inch wheels and a 200-horsepower turbo engine, performance will also be a definite highlight of the new Cascada.
Inside it’ll come loaded with thoughtful technologies like the Buick IntelliLink infotainment system, which includes Text Message Alerts and Siri Eyes Free for iOS 6 or later iPhones. Like many GM models, the 2016 Buick Cascada will also get an OnStar-powered, built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to provide Internet on the go. In addition, safety technologies like a rearview camera, rear park assist, lane departure warning and rain sensing windshield wipers will make Cascada a hot pick among convertibles.
We can’t wait for Cascada to hit Phoenix streets in 2016! Keep an eye out for more news about Cascada and other Buick updates by subscribing to our blog!
