The new 2015 Buick Verano is on sale in Scottsdale now and we're sure you'll be impressed by its long list of amenities. Along with a standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, Verano also offers a standard Buick IntelliLink infotainment system, which offers music, phone, text messaging and app functions.
Following last year's updates, IntelliLink now includes a text messaging feature that can provide alerts when you receive incoming texts, so you never miss the latest updates from your friends, work or family. You can also set up the tool to read incoming text messages aloud and reply using pre-programmed responses (with select smartphones).
Siri Eyes Free was also added to the IntelliLink system last year, offering hands-free functionality for iPhone users. Siri, your digital assistant, is activated using voice commands and can ring up your friends, compose text messages or emails, and access other iPhone functions on your behalf, so that you can keep your hands on the steering wheel.
Music is another often-used component of IntelliLink. You can manage your songs by speaking to the system or by using the 2015 Verano's steering-wheel integrated controls. And system features like Gracenote allow you to voice tag your songs and create instant playlists using a "More Like This" function. In addition, you can access over 140 commercial-free channels on SiriusXM Radio (subscription required), including music, weather, talk, sports and news stations.
