What's New For the 2021 GMC Yukon?

In 2021, GMC calls the Yukon the "next generation" of its ever-popular SUV. That name appears to be fitting for the latest Yukon, which already has many honorable mentions under its belt. Now, the GMC Yukon features many standard and available amenities, including an all-new available active response system with four-wheel drive, and a class-leading nine camera views. The Yukon also gets an adaptive air ride suspension system for the first time, and it's the first time this type of suspension has been offered in the Yukon's class. The Yukon also rolls off the 2021 assembly line with a power capability of 420 HP, which is the best in its class. The 2021 GMC Yukon interior features an impressive 15-inch diagonal display screen with head-up technology for safety and convenience. The Denali gets an exclusive interior design to finish it off.

2021 Yukon Trims & Features

The 2021 GMC Yukon is offered in the SLT, and the Denali trims. Both seat up to eight occupants. The SLT features class-leading cargo capacity with 144.7 cubic feet. This amount of space lets everyone and everything come along for the ride. A premium diagonal premium infotainment system with a total size of 10.2 inches provides clear entertainment and easy access for all. The comprehensive infotainment system also includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Heated and ventilated front seats add an element of luxury. The seats are also finished in soft leather. The Denali builds on that list with a number of exclusive features. The Yukon Denali gets a power-sliding center console that is the largest and most dynamic in its class. It also comes with the aforementioned adaptive suspension, active-response four-wheel-drive system, and camera with nine views.

GMC Yukon Horsepower

Two engines are available for the 2021 GMC Yukon. The base engine in the SLT is a 5.3L V8. This capable engine generates a total of 355 HP and 383 LB-FT of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The second engine is standard in the Denali. The Denali's engine is a 6.2L with eight cylinders. Equipped with this engine, the Denali produces a best-in-class power output of 420 HP. Its engine creates 460 LB-FT in torque. The Denali also gets a 10-speed automatic transmission system.

2021 GMC Yukon Safety

A surround vision camera is included on both trims of the 2020 GMC Yukon. The Yukon features standard driver-assist safety tolls, including lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
