The Christmas at the Princess event returns to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, transforming the Phoenix area into a North Pole-worthy winter wonderland. From an outdoor skating rink made with real ice to visits with Santa in his workshop, there’s no end to the holiday magic at the Princess.

The seasonal festivities begin on Nov. 22 with the 7th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony that takes place at the Enchanted Plaza. The resort’s four-story tree twinkles brighter than ever with 70,000 LED lights that are programmed to dance around to 16 different holiday songs. Don’t miss out on this spectacular event, which features carolers and yummy snacks, and is even attended by Santa Claus himself!

The tree lighting ceremony is also the opening night for the rest of the merry and bright activities at the resort. One of the most popular is the Desert Ice Skating Rink, which is a great opportunity to experience the beloved winter tradition of skating outdoors. The rink features nightly rink side snowfalls for an even more authentic experience.

The Princess’s grounds are also adorned by over 3 million twinkling LED lights. The Lagoon Lights make for a delightful adventure to take with your little ones, and can even be admired during a ride on the resort’s train. Afterwards, take a stroll through the Enchanted Plaza, roast marshmallows in S’mores Land or visit Santa in his workshop in La Hacienda Plaza.

Christmas at the Princess is open to the public, and starts at $35 for entrance fee/parking. Select activities will carry an additional fee. For a complete list of events and pricing, visit the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess website.
