GMC’s brand-new 2017 Acadia is at the top of its game for the new model year. The crossover has dropped 700 pounds, offers a new All Terrain model, features two new powertrains and comes with a collection of fresh safety features and technologies designed to improve the driving experience. Expected to make its debut at Van Buick GMC this spring, the 2017 GMC Acadia is destined to be a first choice among today’s car buyers.

The Acadia All Terrain is the newest model to infiltrate the crossover’s lineup for the 2017 model year. Equipped with an advanced AWD system designed to perform its best in all weather conditions, the crossover is ideal for weekend trips to Flagstaff. Special features such as black chrome trim, unique wheels, a body-colored grille surround and five-passenger seating can also be found on the model, separating it from other variants. This can also be said about the Acadia Denali model, which now comes exclusively with Continuously Variable Ride Control for 2017.

On the safety front, the new Acadia adds Front Pedestrian Braking and Surround Vision Camera to its list of available active safety features, allowing drivers to receive some assistance while on the road. Additionally, the Acadia is offered with a new 2.5L four-cylinder engine capable of producing an EPA-estimated 28 mpg highway and a 3.6L V6, delivering an incredible 310 horsepower.

“GMC is a strong, growing premium brand and the Acadia is a cornerstone of our success story,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “The all-new Acadia leverages GMC’s proven SUV experience to take on and shake up one of the largest vehicle segments, with a strong blend of design, technology and capability.”
