Van Buick GMC would like to encourage residents of Scottsdale to take part in this year’s Humana Vitality 5K and Walk With Me fun walk, benefiting Southwest Human Development’s Easter Seals services for children with disabilities. Slated to kick off on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Scottsdale Civic Center Park, this family fun event is a great way to give back to the community and help children in need across the Valley.
Both the Humana Vitality 5K run and Walk With Me 1.25-mile family fun walk will be open to participants on race day. Interested parties can sign up for either run online now in order to guarantee a spot in one of the two races. Registration prices vary and can be found on the official event site. In addition to the races, participants will be able to join the Block Party after the race, which will feature crafts, food, drinks, games and a whirlwind of entertainment. For an extra $10, runners can also attend the Official After Party at Distrito, which you can register for online.
By taking part in the Humana Vitality 5K or Walk With Me family run, you’ll be raising funds for a worthy cause: Southwest Human Development’s Easter Seals programs. Their efforts within the community have benefited families with disabled children in the past and we hope they’ll continue to implement new initiatives in the future.
