During this year’s Super Bowl 50, Buick did something they’ve never done in the past: they premiered their very own Super Bowl commercial! The automaker nabbed two talented celebrities to star in their 30-second spot, highlighting the all-new Cascada luxury convertible, which is on sale now at Van Buick GMC.
Apart of Buick’s “Experience the New Buick” campaign, the Super Bowl 50 commercial was the first TV spot the automaker debuted in 2016. Their aim was to introduce the world to the new Cascada, the company’s first convertible in 25 years. They even scouted football-player Odell Beckham Jr. and model/actress Emily Ratajkowski to help them debut the model.
“We wanted talent that represented attributes of the Buick brand and design philosophy,” Aldred said. “For Buick, Odell Beckham Jr. represents unique talent and commitment to excellence that mirrors Buick’s commitment to performance. Emily Ratajkowski brings style which aligns with the Cascada’s design and adventurous spirit.”
Both Beckham and Ratajkowski were thrilled to star in Buick’s commercial and show off the new Cascada. In addition to the high-end convertible, the brand also recently launched the redesigned 2016 LaCrosse sedan and has plans to reveal the new Envision compact crossover later this year.
