At the Scottsdale Civic Center this May, the fifth annual AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival will feature over 250 local and national beers! For the craft beer lover, this is a festival that offers an opportunity to try out a large variety of brews, from Blondes and Light Lagers to Pilsners, IPAs, Golds, Stouts and much more.

Just a few of this year’s participating breweries include Angry Orchard Cider Co. from Cincinnati, Maui Brewing Co. from Lahaina, Avery Brewing from Boulder, Nola Brewing from New Orleans, Barrio Brewing Company from Tucson and Tall Grass Brewing from Manhattan - and these really are just a few of the breweries. There’s a long list of others!

Beerific activities are also included. While you’re enjoying the libations, you can watch live entertainment, check out the beer Olympic games or see brewing demonstrations. A beer science garden and mobile canning station will also be on site, along with numerous food vendors.

Guests must be 21 or over to enter the festival and several ticket options are available. Presale general admission tickets are $35 online and include 20 four-ounce pours and a souvenir can. The same package will go up to $45 on the day of the event.

VIP tickets are also on sale (online only) for $100. Along with 20 four-ounce pours, VIP guests receive catered food, access to the VIP zone and its private restrooms, a souvenir can, specialty beer sampling and early entry (1 hour before).

The festival takes place on May 16, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. VIP entry starts at noon. Visit the Canned Craft Beer website for more details and to purchase tickets online.
