If you want to get out and do something fun this month, while escaping the summer heat at the same time, head to the Laugh Factory in Scottsdale, where some of the nation’s funniest comedians will take the stage this month. Performances are scheduled Thursday through Sunday every week starting at 8 p.m. each night and general admission tickets are only $20 plus tax.
This month, several comedians are coming to the Laugh Factory, including the legendary Jimmie Walker from the famed 1970s TV show “Good Times,” on which he coined the phrase “Dy-no-mite!” Also performing this July is John Caponera, whom you may know from his time on the TV series “The Good Life” starring Drew Carey. In addition, up-and-coming comedian Roberto Rodriguez and former “The News” writer/performer Shang Forbes will also make appearances, along with Brian Scolaro and Geoff Piccarreta.
