The annual Independence Day Music Festival at Salt River Fields is always a big hit, and this year on Thursday, July 3, 2014, the event is expected to draw record crowds as Phillip Phillips takes the stage! The American Idol alum will be joined by several special guests and following the show there will be a huge fireworks display!
If you want to enter to win free tickets and meet Phillip Phillips in person, all you have to do is make a donation to Morning Star Youth Council's 3rd Annual Backpack Drive. You must drop off one of the three donation items below to the management office at Salt River Fields before July 1 to register:
- Texas Instrument scientific calculator (TI-83; TI-84; TI-Nspire CX-CAS)
- Elementary or high school backpacks with basic supplies
- Cash donation of $10
If you want your name submitted in the ticket giveaway as many times as possible, donating a scientific calculator will enter you 35 times. Below this, donating a backpack with supplies will get your name entered in the drawing 25 times, while donating $10 will enter you 20 times.
Salt River Fields is located at 7555 N. Pima Rd. in Scottsdale, Arizona.
