Even with our recent monsoon weather, it's still been hot, hot, hot! Luckily, Scottsdale's got a variety of water playgrounds where locals can cool off and even hang ten. Check out Van Buick GMC's list of the city's top five pools!

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Adventure Water Park
At Adventure Water Park, there are several swimming areas and a 900-foot lazy river where you can take a long and relaxing inner-tube ride. The resort also features a cool boardsport simulator that allows Arizonians to surf in the desert.

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa
Sanctuary's definitely got an edge over other pools - an infinity edge, to be exact. Their uniquely styled pool offers beautiful views of the desert landscape at sunset and an overall serene atmosphere any time of the day.

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
Thrill seekers will love the 200-foot waterslides at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' Sonoran Splash water park. There's also a zero-depth area and sandbox with beach toys for your little ones. Rental cabanas are another perk, especially on days with a high UV index.

The Phoenician Relaxation Pool & SURGE
Along with several private cabanas and a beautiful pool with mother of pearl tiling, The Phoenician also recently opened SURGE, which offers an interactive experience with special lighting, music and high-tech features. In addition, there's a 165-foot waterslide and wading pool for children.

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale
A massive 2.5-acre water playground is one of Hyatt Regency Scottsdale's top highlights. There are 45 waterfalls, a high-speed slide that's three stories tall, several swimming pools and even a sand "beach" that'll make you feel like you're in a tropical oasis far from the desert.
