How does GMC Wireless Charging Work?

As mobile phone technology has advanced, the need for adapters and cables has diminished. GMC Wireless Charging makes it easy and convenient to keep your phone charged while you commute or travel without having one more thing to remember and plug in. What's left is the simple process of putting the device you want to be charged on top of the charger.

Wireless charging is possible through a method called inductive charging, which uses magnetic fields to deliver power to your devices battery instead of a traditional plug-to-inlet connection. All that is required for inductive charging is the physical contact that occurs when your phone is placed on the GMC Wireless Charging pad, and the process begins itself. A GMC's IntelliLink display screen will also verify that the Wireless Charging is working correctly by showing an icon on its screen. If your phone is out of position, you can adjust it without having to take your eyes off of the road.

Many phones now include wireless charging capabilities in their built-in hardware. However, GMC Wireless Charging is also available for any mobile device compatible with external powerless charging accessories, which can be purchased from several technology manufacturers. Any wireless charging accessory that uses PMA 1.0, WPC 1.0 or WPC 1.1 charging standards may be used with GMC's Wireless Charging technology.
