Distinct Exterior Design

Building off of the Enclave’s redesign, the top-of-the-line model will feature exclusive badging, pearl nickel 20-inch aluminum wheels and a new three-dimensional mesh grille. The latter is an Avenir-exclusive that will appear throughout the sub-brand’s lineup, making further distinctions between Buick and Buick Avenir.

The Enclave Avenir also stands out thanks to the Buick-first Evonik Acrylite LED lighting system, which is both brighter and more wear-resistant.

Inside, the cabin receives quite a few luxury upgrades. Offered in one color scheme—Chestnut and Ebony—Avenir interior styling cues include embroidered front headrests, upholstery contrast stitching, piping on the seats, a wood-accented steering wheel and Avenir-branded floor mats.

The Enclave Avenir also introduces a whole new echelon of amenities to Scottsdale drivers, such as dual moonroofs, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a hands-free programmable liftgate, a power-folding third row, wireless phone charging, an 8-inch display and a 360-degree surround vision camera system.

Elevated Performance

The Enclave Avenir is supplied with a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine, which utilizes an efficient nine-speed automatic transmission and stop/start technology to boost fuel economy. Total output comes in at 302 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, giving the luxury crossover enough moxie to tow up to 5,000 lbs (when properly equipped).

Other new performance features include a five-link rear suspension with available continuously variable real-time damping, as well as an intelligent all-wheel drive system with an active twin-clutch rear differential.

“This is a vehicle intended for Buick customers who demand the best and the latest our brand has to offer,” said Duncan Aldred.
